Project actions

The actions menu on the dashboard helps you move faster once transcription is ready or a translated version already exists.

Replace all occurrences

Use this when the transcription makes the same mistake many times. Example:
  • the source says VoiceCheap
  • the transcription repeatedly writes a similar but wrong word
  • you replace every occurrence in one pass instead of editing segment by segment
This is one of the fastest ways to clean up a transcript before or after a first translation pass.

Translation time skip

Translation time skip is useful when part of the video should remain exactly as originally recorded. You add ranges with:
  • start timestamp
  • end timestamp
Within those ranges, VoiceCheap keeps the original sound, voice, and timing instead of translating that section. This is useful for:
  • music moments
  • branded audio stings
  • short original-language quotes you want to preserve
  • sections where translation would hurt the viewing experience
You can add as many ranges as the project needs.

Compare videos

Use compare mode when you want to check the original and translated versions side by side. This is especially useful after lip sync, subtitle changes, or major transcript cleanup.

Keyboard shortcuts

The shortcuts modal helps power users move faster during review, playback, and editing.

Delete project

Deleting a project removes it from the workspace. Use this when the project is no longer needed, duplicated, or was created by mistake.
