Brand vocabulary

Brand vocabulary helps the transcription stage recognize names, brands, acronyms, and uncommon words more reliably. It is not a project-by-project translation rule. It is a saved customization that improves transcription quality whenever those terms appear in supported workflows.

What it is good for

  • company names
  • people names
  • product names
  • acronyms
  • uncommon industry terms

How to format it

  • separate entries with commas
  • keep entries concise
  • use one term or a short phrase per entry
  • stay under the current maximum of 100 entries
Example: VoiceCheap, Raycast, voicecheap.ai, chat-gpt, Claude, Anthropic, Dubbing, timestamps, Firecrawl, Claude 4 Opus, OpenAI, Cursor

What it does not do

Brand vocabulary does not tell VoiceCheap how to translate a term. It only helps the transcription layer recognize the source term more accurately. If you want to control how a term translates, use Glossary instead.
